Steve Berry

Steve Berry is an American author of historical thriller novels, best known for the Cotton Malone series, which he launched in 2006 with The Templar Legacy. Before turning to writing full-time, he worked as a trial lawyer for 30 years and held local elected office for 14 years; he earned his law degree at the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Berry's novels blend real history and international intrigue, often centered on the fictional Magellan Billet, a U.S. Justice Department intelligence unit. He is a founding member of International Thriller Writers and lives in St. Augustine, Florida.
