Our mission
Most people open a book app for one of two reasons: they want to start reading again, or they want help finding something worth reading next. BookMatcher is built around those two jobs.
We pair you with the people who actually pick books for a living — editors, indie booksellers, celebrity book clubs, BookTok readers, and our own staff — and make their picks easy to find, save, and read. The home screen is your library, your stats, your reading life. Calm. Typographic. Yours.
What we believe

- Free means free. Tracking your reading is free, forever. Pro features unlock genuine extras — deeper recommendations, ambient reading, theming — never the basics.
- Recommendations you can trust. Matches come from real editorial taste, your own reading history, and AI you can shape or turn off. They serve you, not anyone else.
