Kristin Hannah

Kristin Hannah is an American novelist born September 25, 1960, in Garden Grove, California. She earned a law degree and practiced law in Seattle before turning to full-time fiction writing in the early 1990s, publishing her first novels while beginning a long career of family and historical dramas set largely in the Pacific Northwest. Her novels The Nightingale, The Great Alone, The Four Winds, and The Women were all number-one New York Times bestsellers, and her novel Firefly Lane was adapted into a Netflix television series. She lives in the Pacific Northwest.
